Call for Submissions
5K to 10K word count per short story/novella
Seriously sexy stories about “Sticky” situations. Your couple must find themselves in a jam and have to do some seriously sexy things while they work their way out of it. (QMB is not looking for straight porn… your submission must have a plot and character development.)
The Submission deadline is March 1st 2012 for release in June 2012

When submitting, please enter “Sticky Situation Submission” in the email subject line.
Guarantee: By submitting your work, you guarantee that it is your own original work, you hold the copyright, that it does not infringe on existing
copyright material, is not libelous and has not be previously published in any form. Publication in electronic form to personal blogs or journals is
acceptable, however, please let us know when you send us your work.
Payment: $100 and 5 author copies will be paid to all contributing authors.
To Submit Work: On the first page of your manuscript, add your cover letter including a pitch statement about your piece, the word count, the genre and some
information about yourself. Please list any prior publication credits, but don’t be intimidated if you have none. We welcome unpublished authors.
Do Not: Send stories that include pedophilia, minors performing sexual acts, rape or incest, necrophilia, bestiality, or hardcore fetish material, as they
will not be considered for inclusion. Currently over-used plot devices, to include fairy-tale rewrites or self-insertion stories, will be met with skepticism.
Formatting Your Manuscript:
1) Name your manuscript with your name and title of the work.
2) Author name/pen name, address, phone number, email address, title and word count, and pitch statement must appear on the first page.
3) Word documents only no pdfs
4) Times New Roman or Arial font, 11-12 pt.
5) All subsequent pages should have your name, title and page number in the header.
Please allow 3 weeks after closing date for review. It is our policy to respond to all queries, so if you haven’t heard from us in 3weeks, please feel free to
inquire.
Please feel free to submit multiple stories up to five selections, but be aware that only one will be accepted. If submitting poetry, submit up to ten
poems on one document. We do not accept simultaneous submissions.
